The quest for re- dening and re-structuring the individuality of a woman has always been prime concern of the writers and the thinkers alike. They have attained a different level of dimensional approach. A new silhouette is emerging on the horizon and taking the shape of a fourth wave of feminism. 

They speak in terms of intersectionality whereby women’s suppression can only fully be understood in a context of the marginalization of other groups and genders—feminism is part of a larger consciousness of oppression along with racism, ageism, classism, ableism, and sexual orientation.
