Dr. Poonam Dehariya is presently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Botany,School of Biological Sciences, Dr. H.S.Gour, V.V.,Sagar, (M.P.). She has completed M.sc. in Botany in 2003 and qualified CSIR UGC-NET in Life Sciences in 2004. She received her Ph. D. in 2011 from Dr. H.S. Gour, V.V.,Sagar (M.P.) under the title “Cultivation technology and Neutraceutical potential of some
Mushrooms” in subject of Botany. She has 15 years of teaching experience in University. Her areas of interest are Mushroom Biology, Mushroom Biodiversity, Plant Pathology, Microbiology, Medicinal plants etc. 

She completed her training on Mushroom Cultivation from G.B.Pant University Uttarakhand in June 2009. She has more than 25 research papers published in National and International Journals. She has many book chapter contributions in the field. Currently four Ph. D students are working under her guidance.
