Dr. Anshu Gagal is an Assistant Professor at the School of English Studies, Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies-TC affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. She has done her B.A. (Hons) in English from St. Bede’s College, Shimla, and her M.A. is from Panjab University, Chandigarh, and Ph.D. from GGS Indraprastha University, New Delhi. Her doctoral work investigated the articulation of the Ecofeminism from a literary and cultural point of view. She is a
bilingual Indian poet and a creative writer. She has published her works, in Amarujala, Indian Periodical, The Poet to name a few. Over 15years of literary research experience, leading to integration of theoretical expertise with strong analytic and strategic thinking. 

She has taught numerous courses. She is an avid reader and her areas of research interest covers Ecofeminism, Folklore and Culture Studies, Gender Studies, Ecocriticism and Dalit Literature. She has various publications in esteemed journals and she has also presented papers in national and international conferences.
