Dr. Shubhra P. Kandpal (1975) is currently working as an Associate Professor, Department of B.Ed at M.B. Government P.G. College, Haldwani, Nainital (Uttarakhand). She is a versatile scholar, distinguished academician and possesses a rich teaching experience of more than 21 years. She has done her Master’s in English and Applied M.Ed from M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly (UP). She has qualified UGC-NET in Education and obtained D.Phil degree in Education from the same university. She has served in Regional College of Education in Ajmer, Rajasthan and various B.Ed colleges of Delhi-NCR and UP, along with the Government P.G. College, Gopeshwar (Chamoli)

As a Coordinator of ‘College Of Teacher Education’, a prolific project of HRD Ministry, Government of India, she has organized 4 refreshers, 5 workshops and 7 webinars for pre-service and in-service teachers of Uttarakhand. She has presented more than four dozen articles and research papers in national and international repute seminars. Presently, 06 research scholars are doing research and 01 Ph.D degree is awarded under her supervision. More than 25 papers are published in national and international peer-reviewed, renowned journals.

She is an effective resource-person on various socio-economic and educational platforms in print- non-print media. She is associated with Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC), various universities of UP and Uttarakhand as an examiner, paper-setter and member of interview board. She is the author of two books- अभ and श ण अधगम. Her area of interest includes Educational Technology, Pedagogy of English, Educational Research and Motivational Speaking.
